Bogna Altman graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland with a Master's Degree in Interior Design. She is a certified jeweler, painter and designer, with a great love for photography and graphic design. It allows her to express herself in ways she can't otherwise, and for her it means that she can unite a wonderful profession that she loves, with a good school of life - where she learns how to be open with not just other people, but also with her own feelings. When taking photographs she tries to preserve the beauty of the world that surrounds her in her own unique style. Frames that remain are her personal treasures, because she usually locks a lot of her own emotions in every single one of them. Her work is fragile and sometimes nostalgic, but always filled with passion.
Thanks to photography she found peace, freedom and a fascinating universe that she didn't know existed until she looked through the camera's eye. Since that moment she never stopped learning new things - her artistic journey is very exciting and rewarding and hopefully it will never end. Photography allows her to preserve life's moments that she do not want to vanish in oblivion. It also makes her very happy and excited because it awakens the explorer in her. She can't wait to see where it takes her. Even though photography is a challenging medium, and she is mostly self taught, she never got rewarded as much as she does by devoting herself to this art form. She tries to show her vision through her imagination, heart and emotions, which she hopes people recognize when they view her work. So take a look and enjoy her world.
Her work has been featured in magazines and photo albums in Poland, United Kingdom and USA, and on a CD and DVD cover which she designed for an internationally known classical music composer and performer. Her photos have graced the front covers of several published books. She also exhibited her paintings at three solo exhibitions in Poland and at several group exhibitions, and her photographs have been sold to private collections worldwide.
